Program Description

Northeastern's music department offers a concentration in music history and analysis. The diverse curriculum includes courses in Western classical music, American music, World music, music theory, and ear-training. In addition, there is the possibility of choosing a minor in Ethnomusicology, which combines four introductory courses with three electives in specific regional musics of the student's choice.
